First Aid course on 10 May 2008

It is the second time I join a first aid course, and it is definitely more memorable, in the way it was more interactive as compred to normal boring lecture-like courses... "What does first aid mean to you?", was the first thing the trainer asked. Some guy named Handsome say that it is the first help to medical injuries, but to me I feel that first aid is something that can be done efficiently and with deft so as to salvage the person's injuries, or even his or her life.

Enough of the introduction... What have we learned thoughout the course? Awww... We , through this first aid course learned that first aid is a fun experience to gain so long that we do not memorise the ways of first aid but instead apply the logic of life-saving techniques actively . We also learnt the heimlich manoevre, the recovery position, the cardio-PULMONARY-resusitation and other weird names.

We also learnt the ABCs of escanaenae first aid to quickly salvage a worst case scenario...the airway, the breathing and pulse, and also the body parts that we have to take care of in the event of a life threatening situation, such as a fit...

The most interesting and interactive part is the bandadging part, where we try on our "couple" and take mass victim photos(more in the gallery).
 

The First aid course was fun and high, for the trainer is amiable,and that everyone is able to gain something after that. We also gained an ambulance badge!!!
