SINGAPORE SCOUT ASSOCIATION

This year marks a very special year in our history. The Singapore Scout Association has reached a significant milestone in becoming a hundred years old. A number of interesting events have been lined up this year to celebrate our grand birthday. I encourage every scout to take part actively in these events. The Rally and the Jamboree were planned for participation for all scouts.

New Chief Commissioner

With effect from 1 Nov 2009, Mr Tan Cheng Kiong, previously Deputy Chief Commissioner & International Commissioner has assumed the appointment of Chief Commissioner, SSA.

Having been in the Scout Movement for almost 35 years, Chief Commissioner Tan has held several key appointments prior to his elevation to the present position.

Let us extend our heartiest congratulations to him on his appointment.
